Making Adventure Affordable

Sam Matuseski

My name is Sam. I’m a hiking/travel creator based out of Minnesota. My mission is to help 20-somethings turn travel into something that they can regularly do, not just watch on social media.

About Sam

What I Do

My content lives at the intersection of:

  • Hiking and outdoor adventure
  • Bucket list travel experiences
  • Systems that make those trips repeatable and more affordable

Everything I publish is built from my first-hand experience across the globe.

Who I Create For

My audience follows me for:

  • Hiking
  • Mountain landscapes
  • Backpacking and adventure travel

But people don't just want to watch others travel. They want to know how to create these experiences in their own lives.

That's why I create content and products for people who love the outdoors and want a practical way to:

  • Travel more
  • Stay out longer
  • Spend less
  • Avoid burning out their finances or careers

Why Brands Work With Me

My audience is made up of people who actively go outside, travel, and buy gear. They are hikers, backpackers, and adventure-seekers who actually use what they see.

Brands work with me to:

  • Put products into real outdoor and travel environments
  • Show how gear performs in real conditions
  • Reach an audience that trusts creator recommendations

My content feels native to the experience, not like an ad.

My Background

I hold a degree in chemical engineering and use that background to take a disciplined, systems-driven approach to travel. Over the past two years, I've been turning my approach into a business built around real-world experiences and audience trust.

In the last 2 years I have:

  • Traveled across the United States, Europe, and Asia
  • Hiked and trekked through remote mountain regions
  • Lived out of backpacks, hostels, buses, and trail towns
  • Built a following around outdoor-driven, experience-focused travel

Every strategy I teach has been tested by me first. I sell systems that have already worked.

Why People Trust My Guides

Most travel content shows what to do and where to go. Very few creators show how to afford it and execute it.

  • Flight booking strategies
  • Location based budgeting
  • Gear and packing systems
  • Route planning that avoids tourist traps and inflated costs

Goal: Give you the same playbook I use to travel more for less.

Brand Values

Experience beats possessions.

Money should be used to actively build stories, not sit in accounts.

Travel should be accessible.

You do not need to be rich, retired, or reckless to see the world.

Trust is everything.

If I recommend something, it is because I actually use it.
